Cancellation policy

The rules for cancellation are as follows:

  • For cancellation made up to 30 days prior to arrival, there will be 90% reimbursement.
  • For cancellation made from 29 days up to 15 days prior to arrival, there will be 50% reimbursement.
  • For cancellation made from 14 days up to 10 days prior to arrival, there will be 30% reimbursement.
  • For cancellation made less than 10 days prior to arrival, the cancellation fee is the full cost for the activity.

Bird Watching


Duration: 6 hour(s) - Location: Ubatuba

Ubatuba has a great diversity of bird species, among them are forty-six Brazilian endemics. There are sixteen near-threatened, twelve vulnerable and three endangered species that have been recorded.

Brazilian endemics that are regularly seen include: White-necked Hawk; Plain Parakeet; Saw-billed Hermit; Sombre Hummingbird; Brazilian Ruby; Orange-eyed Thornbird;  Ferruginous, Squamate and Scaled  Antbirds; Black-cheeked Gnateater; Slaty Bristlefront; Buff-throated Purpletuft; Fork-tailed Tody-Tyrant; Yellow-lored Tody-Flycatcher; Long-billed Wren and Azure-shouldered, Golden-chevroned and Brazilian Tanagers.  

Among other exciting birds to look for are: Black Hawk-Eagle; Slaty-breasted Wood-Rail; Maroon-bellied Parakeet; Festive Coquette; Chestnut-bellied Puffbird; Channel-billed Toucan; White-tailed Trogon; Yellow-fronted and Blond-crested Woodpeckers; White-eyed Foliage-Gleaner; Rufous-capped Spinetail; Spot-backed Antshrike; Streak-capped and rufous-winged Antwrens; Spot-breasted Antvireo; Spotted Bamboowren; Yellow Tyrannulet; Red-necked and Green-headed Tangers and Black-throated Grosbeak.

Night time offer a chance to see the Mottled Owl, Tropical Screech-owl, Least Pygmy-Owl and Pauraque.

An expert bilingual guide, equipped with playback, will be provided to ensure that participants have the best bird watching experience.

Bird watching involves activity at odd hours and a modest amount of physical activity. Participants are expected to understand what is requested of them.

All tours require some walking, sometimes for up to half a day. At times, it involves walking uphill or over a difficult terrain.

Bird watching is a continuous activity. Rest is taken when necessary.
