The owners, Mila and Rafael, are architects who moved away from the city in order to create a new life in a beautiful, natural setting. Guests are received like old friends.
Environment
Casa Mila's owners are concerned about preserving the natural Atlantic forest.
They take care of the green area and the natural spring on the pousada's property. They protect the beautiful native tree and flower species of the Atlantic rainforest and cultivate a gorgeous garden that attracts many birds.
They also help the local fishing community through donations to the local school and by hiring pousada employees from the community, giving their staff the opportunity to have a better life by learning an occupation, improving their skills, and understanding how important it is to preserve the environment.
