Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

Omnimare Dive Centre promotes Beach and Underwater clean up days every year to protect the ocean and the environment.

The Instructors during these days promote environmental protection speeches among children in local schools. Pamphlets donated by Project Aware are distributed to make them grow more conscious of simple acts they can contribute to a better world such as: separating the garbage, not littering in the streets, not leaving the water taps open for so long, taking a bath quick, removing garbage from sand and beaches, etc.
