Pousada Estrela do Mar is located just 100 m from Itagua beach, where you can enjoy yourself at one of the beach bars, restaurants or just walk on the sidewalk observing the beauty of the mountains' encounter with the sea. It is also very close to the Ubatuba Seaquarium and Project Tamar, which are good options for sightseeing.

If you are coming from from Sao Paulo, take the Carvalho Pinto Highway towards Sao Jose dos Campos and then you have two options to arrive in Ubatuba.

1) After you pass Sao Jose dos Campos, take Tamoios Road until you arrive in Caraguatatuba and then take BR 101 to Ubatuba. This route has a beautiful seashore view. From Caraguatatuba to Ubatuba is approximately 50 km and you will pass several beaches beside the highway. In Ubatuba, after passing Praia Grande, there is a rotary. Take a right off the rotary on Capitao Felipe Street towards downtown and go straight until Itagua Beach. At the second rotary, take a left on Leovigildo Dias Vieira Avenue. Take a left on Milton Holanda Maia Avenue near the mall and proceed for about 50 meters. We are at number 186.

2) Continue on Carvalho Pinto highway to Taubaté. In Taubaté take Dutra highway until you get Oswaldo Cruz Road and follow direct to downtown Ubatuba. This road has an incredible view of the mountains and while it's very curvy, it's worth the trip. There is much less traffic than on the road from Caraguatatuba, especially on weekends and holidays. Take on Thomas Galhardo Street, the main street in Ubatuba, following the signs to the airport. Arriving in front of the airport, continue on Guaicurus Street till you reach a small bridge, after crossing it, turn left and then take the next right on Leovigildo Dias Vieira Avenue, go straight for two blocks and turn right on Milton Holanda Maia Avenue and soon you will find us.
