Ms Paula
Paula's family moved to Ubatuba when she was 7 years old and she spent the rest of here childhood here. She studied abroad as a teenager and has traveled a lot, but her favorite place has always been Ubatuba. When Paula returned to Brazil, her family decided that their house was so big that they should tconvert it into a Bed & Breakfast for her to manage. Since 1995, she has been working hard to make guests feel comfortable and welcome at Recanto das Palmeiras.Paula loves to take care of special details and enjoys tending the garden and preparing delicious homemade cakes and breads for breakfast. She is always available to talk to the guests and suggest what to do, eat and see in this paradise.

The Hotel Recanto das Palmeiras is committed to sustainable tourism and the preservation of the environment.
Employees are hired from the local community and given the opportunity to learn new job skills in order to improve the quality of their lives. The owner is committed to both water and energy conservation on site and encourages her staff to use bicycles to come to work . Plastics and metals are separated for recycling and organic waste is composted for use in the gardens. The hotel also supports various social organizations that are involved in helping the elderly and the poor.
