The former Brazilian Surf championship Jose Carlos Maiel Renno, well known as "Zecão", has opened a Surf school in the beautiful Itamambuca beach approximately 12 years ago.
The intensive class starts firstly on the sand where you are going to learn the right way to stand up on the board, body position, swimming and others techniques. After that, you will continue the class in mid water together with an instructor that will help you to tow the board and teach you to stand up and surf.

Participant guidelines
The surf class includes all the necessary equipment: surf board, lash and Lycra t-shirt and you will receive a DVD class, certificate and paraffin as a bonus.
The women are advised to wear shorts as well.
Other disclosures
It is always good to use sun protection lotion and bring a towel for after class.
