It is one of the most beautiful Colonial style buildings of Brazil. Paraty is declared as a National Historical monument and was an important city in Brazil history as an important port of trade in gold and coffee cycles. Paraty is also famous for its excellent "cachaça" sugar cane liquor. Its historical centre with cobblestone, pedestrian-only streets is a romantic place for a leisure stroll. There are many restaurants with delicious food, bars with live music and handcrafts stores in town.
Spend a day in Paraty is certainly unforgettable.
Itinerary
From Ubatuba to Paraty: Stop at Waterfall on the way to take pictures, also stop at a belvedere to take pictures of the beautiful beaches and islands.
Go to Paraty Historical Center to a stroll, visit the main important buildings and shops. Stop by in a restaurant or cafe to eat something (not included in the price) and go to a typical "cachaça store" to try the famous liquor.

It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes, specially closed ones to walk in the cobblestone streets.
